    This park is a nice retreat from the congestion of the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area. Tremont is a quiet town located about 20 miles from Pigeon Forge. This campground is on the river with many waterfront sites available. Sites are well spaced gravel pads. Restrooms were clean and the entire campground was well maintained. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Our only quibble was with the remoteness of Tremont from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Twenty miles on the curvy roads means a 30+ minute drive to get from the campground to Pigeon Forge. Access to Cades Cove however is quick as the campground is situated at the entrance to the National Forest.
