A great campground located in the Gold Country off Highway 49 near Angels Camp. Lots to explore and do here in the mountains. You can hike, wine tast, fish, boat or even head to Yosemite NP. Be prepared that Highway 49 is very slow and twisty for big rigs.

Very nice campground located in the Gold Country of California off Highway 49 near the town of Angels Camp. A great place to set up camp and explore the Gold Country, Gold Towns, Yosemite, wine tasting, downhill ski etc. Highway 49 is not the best for big rigs, lots of twists and turns and VERY SLOW!

New owners are doing a very good job. Landscaping is well maintained. Lots of shady areas. Innovative terraced area for RV's and large flat area great for groups. We liked it so much we booked for our RV club in October, 2007 and April, 2008. It is a wonderful location with many places of interest within a 1/2 hour drive. Lots of activities going on in that area.
