Walla Walla Wineries

Part of visiting Walla Walla was to seek out some of their wineries. I was surprised at how many wineries were around this small valley and found a great website that helped when planning to visit a few. We found many tasting rooms right in the do...

Gray Catbird at the Dining window..

Gray Catbird at the Dining window.. Not this window… This is our bedroom window.. We are parked close to a large Rhododendron bush. Because of our proximity and our reflective windows we tend to get birds tapping at our window and acti...

Recent RV Park Reviews

First of all the web site has changes and is now www.hemlockscamp.com This is truly a great family campground. Our family has been camping here for years and we love it. The events they put on are a lot of fun and the prices for the camp sites are great.

We have stayed here before, and it is a very nice campground. We were given a free night; a special was running through April for 2 nights get the 3rd free. I can see why they try to get people to stay in April--the weather was terrible. We stayed 4 days due to high winds, snow, sleet, rain, dust storms, etc. Cable was excellent; wi-fi was pretty good. Staff is very friendly. Free continental breakfast included, as well as coffee, hot chocolate, etc. all day. Convenient to Camping World and other attractions.

Excellent choice - well run, well organized. very helpful owners. They even lead you to your site rather than just pointing the way. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Clean, well organized, friendly staff, and close to everything we came to South Padre to see. Bicycle friendly or use the shuttle. Restaurants and beach just around the corner. Plenty of guest activities. Sunset deck is a big plus.

Park is on the west side of Amarillo, but close enough that everything is handy. Plenty of great restaurants very close. The park is on Business Route 40, freeway traffic noise is not bothersome at all. We heard no trains while staying here. We were impressed with this park and enjoyed our stayed here. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is more than we like to pay for a campground, but it is the market in the area for anything reasonable. The park has many amenities, such as pool, which we do not use. This would be a great park for a family with kids. The park is very nice and well maintained. Utilities were all good. We did get a site with satellite, and for most sites it would not be a problem since the trees are still very short. Our Verizon phone and data plan worked well. If you ask, they will give you free tasting vouchers (four per day) for some select wineries. If visiting the area, we would likely stay here again.
